Wow, wow and WOW!!! These "House of Hades" tiles, aside from being AWESOME, are very similar to the tiles of my dreams - large, colorful, plentiful, and not necessarily focusing on the four-line "Toynbee Idea" message, but focusing on the scarier elements of the tiles, or 'delving deep into the paranoia.' Woah. I'm not making this up, folks.
These tiles are too cool, and honestly folks, really similar to my dreams. So who does them? Tell us about them and how you discovered them, Justin. I want to commend whoever is responsible. I like the campaigns like this one, the CrimethInc campaign, Justin's Ghost Mind Electricity tiles, and so forth, that capture the dark-yet-faithful spirit of the Toynbee Idea, and even go so far as to appropriate some lines from the original tiles, but still have their own individual axe to grind. The "House of Hades" tiles are especially artistically interesting.

I think the people or person who is making the "House Of Hades" tiles also made the Buffalo Toynbee tile. I found the photos on flickr, which I periodically comb through for any pictures tagged with "Toynbee" or related words.
Those tiles are really amazing technique-wise.... I might write to the person with the flickr account, assuming they might be the person responsible, or at least know them, and ask for some tips. They look better, technique-wise, than the Philly copy-cat tiles.

I found another one, this one is in Toronto, I think!
Check it out!

O yeah, upon closer reading of the flickr page, it looks as if it is in Buffalo! It's awesome to see the 'eye of Horus' AKA the 'all seeing eye' finally make an appearance on a tile!

If you think my mind is no longer blown by this, you are incorrect.
Meanwhile, yeah, this new House of Hades tile rules, I think it's my favorite so far.
These are totally the tiles of my dreams. Life is weird.

these are from that flickr account. I'm assuming these are all downtown buffalo, but the weather has been crappy and I don't make it down there too much.

Yeah, totally awesome!! Cheers to whoever is making those. To say that they rule would be an understatement.

Oh, and does anyone have addresses for those, especially the copycat Toynbee tile? Just in case I make it out to Buffalo sometime soon...

The toynbee one is located on the circle of road in front of city hall, on the end opposite the building. I don't know what the roundabout is called, but just look up buffalo city hall and you'll be right there. The rest of these I have no idea, all the ones I have seen are in the downtown vicinity, or on the edge thereof. It's a very small area so i'm sure if you just drive around with eyes peeled you'll find at least a few of them. I'll pm you info if i'm out and get a chance to write down streets.

They should make some road trips with these! They're too incredible to be confined to just one locale!
